Expert Nutrition Support for NDIS Participants

At Tailored Dietetics, we provide NDIS dietitian services for self-managed and plan-managed National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients across Australia. We offer personalised nutrition services by a registered Accredited Practising Dietitian, designed to support your NDIS needs and align with your funding, helping you achieve your health and wellbeing goals with one-on-one attention and expert guidance.

Who Can We Help

  • Self-managed NDIS participants seeking professional nutrition advice to assist with meal planning tailored to their individual needs.

  • Plan-managed NDIS participants requiring dietitian services to support their NDIS needs for managing chronic health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and other complex medical conditions.

  • NDIS Participants who are looking for education and practical tools to maintain good health and independence.

NOTE: We do NOT provide services for NDIA-managed participants.

What We Focus On

At Tailored Dietetics, our primary focus is supporting women’s health through tailored women’s nutrition care that addresses energy, resilience, gut health, hormonal balance, and overall wellbeing. We use evidence-informed strategies to promote long-term vitality by tackling underlying factors such as inflammation, gut dysfunction, immune imbalance, and hormonal changes.

While our core focus is on supporting women’s health, we recognise that many NDIS participants are also managing chronic health conditions, specific dietary needs, and require practical nutrition education. Our services are designed to meet these needs while aligning with each client’s NDIS plan goals.

Supporting health and independence through personalised nutrition

This personalised, food-first approach supports improved health, greater independence, and overall well-being, particularly for women navigating the NDIS.

Our approach includes:

  • Supporting women experiencing fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal fluctuations, and mood challenges, using nutrition to improve daily energy, movement, and wellbeing.

  • Providing tailored support for the management of chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and inflammatory conditions.

  • Creating personalised nutrition care plans that align with each participant’s NDIS goals and funding.

  • Offering all consultations online, ensuring flexible and accessible support Australia-wide.

  • Providing NDIS report writing where needed to support plan reviews, progress tracking, or funding reassessments.

Areas Outside Our Services

While Tailored Dietetics supports clients with various health concerns, there are certain specialty areas that fall outside our scope of services. We believe in providing the most effective and appropriate care, which sometimes means referring clients to specialists with specific expertise. These areas include:

  • Disordered eating and eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder.

  • Food allergy management.

  • Complex tertiary hospital cases that require highly specialised clinical care.

  • Individuals with complex impairments or intellectual disabilities may benefit more from in-person support, as our services are exclusively online.

  • Children, as our focus is on adult clients, paediatric dietitian support is recommended for younger clients.

For those facing these challenges, we encourage seeking support from dedicated specialists in these areas to ensure you receive the best possible care tailored to your unique needs.

If you are unsure whether your needs fall within our services or require a specialised dietitian, please contact us. We are happy to discuss your situation and guide you towards the most suitable options, including referrals to trusted professionals when needed.

Our goal is to support your health journey safely and effectively by connecting you with the right resources when required.
