I help busy women who feel tired, bloated, and overwhelmed reconnect with their bodies and take charge of their energy.

Hi, I’m Lena, an Accredited Practising Dietitian and founder of Tailored Dietetics.

I guide women to connect the dots between what they eat, how they feel, and what their bodies truly need, so they can let go of food confusion and exhausting routines, and build sustainable habits that actually support them.

I know firsthand how easy it is to keep pushing through. In my former career running a real estate business, I spent years managing long hours, high expectations, and the mental load of constantly holding everything together. Over time, that chronic stress took a toll on my energy, my health, and my sense of clarity. Taking time out to travel Australia helped me reset and realign with what truly mattered, leading me to a new path in nutrition and prevention-focused care.

Now, I run a flexible, values-led online practice to support women, those juggling full lives who want personalised, realistic support they can trust. I offer longer consultations, practical tools, and Mediterranean-inspired strategies to help women feel clearer, stronger, and more in control of their health, without extremes, guilt, or guesswork.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition and a genuine passion for helping women feel better in their bodies.

I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a Bachelor of Dietetics (Honours) and additional qualifications in fitness, holding a Certificate III & IV in Fitness. I’ve also been trained in the use of a low FODMAP diet for IBS through Monash University. While I don’t offer fitness services, this background enhances my holistic, lifestyle-based approach to women’s health, especially where nutrition, digestion, and movement intersect.

  • MY STORY

We all have our story to tell, each unique to ourselves. Here is a little insight into mine.

  • Real Estate

As a young, spirited, and adventure-loving woman, I knew I wanted to own my own business. That go-getting spark led me to pursue a career in real estate, and by my late 20s, I had achieved that goal. I spent 15 years in the industry, including seven years running my own successful real estate business.

  • Travelling Australia

While real estate was fast-paced and rewarding, by the end of 2018, I realised it was time to pursue something closer to my heart. I sold the business and took a career break with my partner Ben to travel around Australia. An experience that allowed me to reconnect with myself, discover new passions, and embrace the freedom of exploration. From mountain biking rugged trails to reflecting under starry skies, those two years of travel reshaped my perspective and gave me the clarity I needed to define my purpose.

  • Health Journey

My personal health journey began with mild symptoms of indigestion, bloating, and fatigue. Before long, these symptoms escalated, leading to digestive issues, itchy eyes, joint aches, mood swings, irregular periods, and sleep disturbances. At the time, I didn’t realise these seemingly separate symptoms might be connected.

  • Looking for Answers

In 2019, driven by the need for clarity, I sought help from a dietitian who identified deficiencies in iron and B12. Over the following years, I underwent various tests and biopsies. Although I wasn't officially diagnosed with Coeliac disease due to my inability to complete the gluten challenge, it was suggested I might have IBS. By 2023, ongoing symptoms led me to a gynaecologist, who confirmed I was likely experiencing perimenopause due to elevated FSH on multiple occasions among other symptoms.

  • Discoveries

Following the initial dietitian consult, we discovered that removing gluten-containing products significantly improved my symptoms, leading me to adopt a gluten-free diet. Around 2024, when learning about FODMAPs, I trialled sourdough bread and found I could tolerate it well and have included it in my diet. Reflecting now, I realise perimenopause had likely been affecting me since my late 30s, intertwining deeply with these nutritional challenges.

  • The Spark

This journey sparked my passion for understanding the body’s nutritional needs and how lifestyle and diet profoundly influence our health as we age.

There were times I felt no one had the answers or that no one was truly connecting the dots. I often felt dismissed, like my symptoms existed in isolation. What was missing was someone who took the time to listen and understand the whole picture.

  • Career Change

That spark led me to become a Qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Dietetics (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast.

In addition, I am now the founder of Tailored Dietetics, where I help women, especially those in their late 30s, 40s, and early 50s, navigate hormonal shifts, digestive concerns, and the frustration of not feeling quite like themselves, just how I felt!

  • My Rock

Throughout all this… A huge part of my journey has been my incredible partner, Ben, who’s been my unwavering rock through it all.

Since we met, we’ve shared a high-paced, adventure-filled romance that’s been nothing short of a fairytale. Always supportive and encouraging me to dream big and take bold steps. Life with him is never boring.

At Tailored Dietetics, together, we build routines that are flexible, not rigid, so you can create lasting changes without the pressure of perfection.

You’ll also get practical tools to support you between consultations, including guided workbooks, recipe collections, and habit + well-being trackers.

If you’re ready for support that feels personal, practical, and grounded in what works, iI would love to work with you.

Stay vibrant, stay healthy, stay you!! Lena

  • FUN FACTS

We’re all into different things, and that’s what makes each of us unique! Here are 5 fun facts about me to give you a little glimpse behind the scenes.

  • 1. Doggy Mumma

I’m a dog mum to two cheeky (and totally inseparable) Border Collies, Thor and Loki, who are actually maternal brothers and my daily dose of joy. Loki is the sassy show-off who lives for snacks and attention, while Thor is my calm, loyal boy who I swear dreams of herding sheep one day.

  • 2. Enduro Motorbike Enthusiast

I’ve been riding motorbikes for over 10 years, moving from road bikes to track, then adventure riding, and now hooked on enduro!

  • 3. Board Game Enthusiast

I love a good strategy board game! From Catan to Twilight Imperium, I’m always up for a challenge, yep, nerdy, I know, but it’s serious fun! The only problem is, I struggle to find time for it all!

  • 4. Traveller at Heart

We spent two years travelling around Australia, finding inspiration in rugged trails and quiet moments under the stars… and there’s more to come. Work, adventure, and lifestyle.

Let’s just say, the journey’s far from over. Stay tuned!

  • 5. Lover of Trying New Things

When we were travelling around Australia, we embraced every new experience that came our way. One highlight was entering the Cape to Cape | 4 stage MTB Stage Race in WA, where we trained for it during our travels, just another adventure done to tick off the list!

    Balance & Flexibility

We believe nutrition support should work with life, not against it. That’s why we offer online care, practical tools, and realistic strategies that fit around real-life demands.

Whether you’re travelling, working from home, or can’t step away from the office, our approach makes support more accessible, without adding more to your plate.

We honour shifting schedules, energy levels, and personal capacity, so you can build meaningful change in a way that feels doable, not draining.

    Confidence Through Clarity

We believe confidence starts with clarity. That’s why we explain the why, not just the what, so women understand what’s happening in their bodies and how to respond with purpose, not pressure.

We take the time to listen, educate, and connect the dots between symptoms, nutrition, and real life. We break down the science simply, remove the guesswork, and give practical, tailored guidance clients can act on, without overwhelm, extremes, or guilt.

    Progress Over Perfection

We believe lasting health is built on consistency, not intensity, because perfection is unrealistic, and real change happens step by step. Progress is powerful. That’s why we focus on progress over perfection and practical strategies that work with her life, not against it.

Through small, realistic habits, we help women create real momentum and build a strong foundation they can return to, through hormonal shifts, life transitions, and every season of ageing.

    Know Your Why

We believe every woman deserves support that reflects her body, her life, and her goals. That’s why we take the time to truly understand her story, her symptoms, lifestyle, history, and concerns.

We go beyond surface-level advice to uncover the why behind her choices, tuning into the patterns, emotions, and everyday realities that shape how she feels.

From there, we create meaningful, personalised strategies that evolve with her needs, so she feels understood, supported, and equipped to take control of her health with confidence.

    Real-Life Nutrition

We believe nutrition should fit your life, not take it over. That’s why we blend Mediterranean-inspired principles with proven science and practical habits. We use evidence where it’s strong and remain honest when it’s still evolving.

That means acknowledging nuance, respecting lived experience, and offering guidance that is both clinically sound and tailored to the person in front of us.
